Apple, Banana, and Corn shaved Ice dessert

Have fun on creating a very simple dessert that's definitely easy, healthy, and really cool for summer!


1 cup saba banana, sliced
1 cup apples, sliced
1 cup corn kernels
1/2 cup cereal or corned flakes
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup condensed milk
2 cups buko juice
A small slice of letche flan, for toppings
Shaved ice for about half the size of a large bowl


1. On a non-stick pan, pour the buko juice. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes, then add the brown sugar.
2. Add the sliced apples and bananas.
3. Mix everything well until the texture becomes syrupy. Then add the corn.
4. After 5 minutes, it's done or when the banana softens.
5. Then set it aside for about 10 minutes. While waiting, you can start shaving ice.
6. In a large bowl, pour corned flakes at the bottom. Then start putting the shaved ice until it's half full or 3/4 full it's up to you.
7. Pour condensed milk on the shaved ice. Then put the syrupy fruit mixture apple, banana, and corn on top.
8. Top it with a small slice of letche flan

Serves: 3-4

(5-7 Servings)


* 20 pieces cheese sticks, at least 2 inches long stick
* 1 cup bread crumbs
* 1 egg white
* Cooking oil for deep frying
* White ground pepper


* In a deep frying pan, preheat the cooking oil over a medium heat.
* Roll each cheese sticks into the egg, and roll again unto the bread crumbs.
* Repeat the procedure #2 until all cheese stick were done.
* When the cooking oil almost hot, gently put the cheese sticks into the hot cooking oil,deep fry it until golden brown.
* Remove from the oil and drain the tempura cheese into a kitchen paper.
* Transfer the tempura cheese into a serving tray.
* Ready to serve.


- You can also use mayonnaise or cheese spread for dippings.
- You can also use the siomai wrapper than bread crumbs.
- Your kids will surely like tempura cheese so better cook more.
- It so easy to prepare, easy to cook and also cheaper than the other recipes for kids.
