MUNGO BEANS SEEDS WITH PORK

(SERVES 8)


INGREDIENTS:



* 1 kilo pork chopped, boiled
* 3 cups mung beans seeds, boiled
* 1 whole onion, pared, finely sliced
* 2 cloves of garlic, finely minced
* 2 tablespoons ginger, sliced
* 4 cups of water
*2 tablespoons vegetable cooking oil
* 2 tablespoons salted fish
* salt to taste

PROCEDURE:



* Preheat the frying pan, add the cooking oil and saute the garlic, onion and ginger until golden brown.
* Add the pork and stir for at least 2 minutes, put the salted fish and stir well.
* Add the mung beans seeds and mix well and pour the water then wait until it boils.
 * Season it with salt and wait again for another couple of minutes until the pork are already done
* Ready to serve with hot rice.


MORE TIPS:



* You can also use shrimp aside from pork on the menu.
* You can also add sotanghon noodles on the mixture.
* You can also substitute black beans or kidney beans if you don’t have mung bean seeds.
