SWEET & SOUR PORK

INGREDIENTS:


* ½ kilo of pork loin, sliced into pieces
* 1 small can of pineapple chuncks
* 1 large onion, quartered
* 1 red & 1 green bell pepper, sliced into strips
* 2 tbsp of soy sauce
* 3 tbsp of peanut oil
* 4 tbsp of cornstarch
* 3 tbsp of catsup
* 1 tspn of sugar
* 1 tspn of salt
* 3 cloves of garlic, minced

PROCEDURE:

* In a pot, boil pork in 2 cups of water with ½ teaspoon of salt.
* When pork is tender, mixed cornstarch and soy sauce.
*Then coated it with cornstarch mixture.
* Fry the pork in a skillet until golden brown.
* Set aside.
* Saute garlic and onions in oil.
* Add all the ingridients.
* Stir until sauce thickens.
* Pour over the fried pork then serve with rice.

MORE TIPS:

* Serve with hot chili.
* Instead of serving with rice, it could be in bread.
* Serve with red wine.
