PORK BITTER MELON OMELLET

(SERVE 5-6)

INGREDIENTS:



* ¼ kilo ground pork
* ½ kilo bitter melon (ampalaya), washed, halves, seeded, sliced in stirps
* 4 eggs, beatin
* 1 whole onion, pared, finely sliced
* salt to taste

 

PROCEDURE:



* Preheat the frying pan and put the cooking oil then saute the garlic and onion.
*Add the ground pork and stir well and put the bitter melon mix carefully.
* Put the eggs and beat well, season it with salt and continue stirring util the eggs are already done.
* Serve while hot with hot rice.                                                             

 

MORE TIPS:



*You can also use shrimp aside from pork.
*You can also put oyster sauce on the mixture to enhance the flavor of the recipe.
* Put and mix some salt to lessen the bitter taste of the bitter melon.
