SWEET AND SPICY DRIED SMALL FISH or DILIS

INGREDIENTS:

* ½ kilo dried small fish or dilis

* 1 ½ cups Brown Sugar

* 1 cup Tomato Ketsup

* 3 tablespoons Chili Powder

* 1 teaspoon Olive Oil

PROCEDURE:

* Pour the tomato ketsup, olive oil, brown sugar and chili powder on a sauce pan. Mix and dissolve well with the use of a fork.

* Preheat the sauce pan with the mixture over a medium heat.

* Let the mixture boil, stirring continuously until the sauce has thickened.

* Turn the heat into low medium heat and continue stirring.

* Add the small dried fish or dilis and continue stirring until the sauce has been absorbed.

* Serve hot or cold.

MORE TIPS:

* If you want this recipe to be sweeter, you can add more amount of brown sugar.

* Best to serve with Red wine or beer.

* This recipe can also be serves as a viand or snack or even at during happy hours (pulutan).
